Christmas Message
2020 drawing to a close
Reflecting on what has happened, and what hasn’t happened, over the past 12 months, 2020 will certainly be remembered as a year of significance domestically and internationally. We are told that Covid-19 is still lurking about and we need to be careful, but the patience and discipline of the overwhelming majority of Australians has put us in a wonderful position of relative freedom over the Christmas period.
While in most respects it has been business as usual for us, disappointingly, we weren’t able to hold our Private Client Seminar this year. Off the back of celebrating our 20th anniversary with over 250 clients the year before, with client appointments for the most part needing to be held remotely, and with most of us working from home throughout the year, it has without doubt been challenging and isolating at times.
Though we don’t know what 2021 has in store, the reality is that this is always true, but as always, we will continue to do our utmost to provide you with tailored advice and guidance on the best ways to manage your financial well-being. At our 20th celebration we were humbled to speak with clients who have been with us from day one, that we’ve worked alongside throughout changes in governments and legislation, and through different market cycles such as the ‘tech crash’, the GFC and more recently the volatility that Covid-19 has bought us. The validation we were given from these clients, that by accepting our advice they have been able to enjoy their lives with peace of mind and have been rewarded financially by taking a long term view and remaining patient, was for me the best part of the day – though I must admit the magician was out of this world!
As always, we would like to thank those of you that have referred friends and loved ones to us this year. Your support and advocacy is greatly appreciated, and with advancements within our practice, Joanne will be able to take on more clients from 2021, so please don’t hesitate to recommend Joanne if you’d like to, we have the resources and capacity to help.
Our office will be closing for the Christmas break from Friday 18th December and will be reopening on Monday 4th January 2021.
We wish you & your loved ones a wonderful Christmas and New Year.
Warmest Regards, Lisa & the team…
Paul, Stuart, Joanne, Monica, Richard, Nadine, Aileen, Lynne, Julie, Marilyn & Callie.
